Calling
It has been said that some are chosen to be great and some choose to be great. At The Cottage we have 210 people who have chosen the great path of Awareness. This path is not without cost--we may have paid by losing friends or family who think we have “lost it,” or being unable to tell others how and what we feel out of fear.
In our daily lives there are many circumstances we need or must address and sometimes these circumstances prevent us from attending presentations at The Cottage. This is understandable, however, Insight2Change was created to enable you to support this avenue of learning, if not in physical form at least in spiritual form. Our goal is to continue to provide different forms of awareness and knowledge.
Go to The Cottage meetup site and join Insight2Change Inner Division. Provide our group the chance to survive and grow in this time of a changing world. At the Cottage, you’re not alone in how you think and how you feel.

a Templar a Wisard and a Monk
Just what does a Templar a Wisard and a Monk have in common?
A road traveled as one. Yet bonded with many, what others see as alone they see as among the largest group ever seen.
A melting into the ether. To become one with the energy of life. To love many. To hold .to feel. To father. To belong to others yet not owned by anyone.
To bend a knee in respect, to give honor to the very being of the light. To reach out.
To help...to be helped...To share and to give...to protect...yes it’s a life most will never truly understand nor would they want to...but its life for some...released from chains...the very human bindings that keep so many hidden behind the clouds of drama never really seeing the brightness of the sun.
They who do not know, curse the heat of the day never realizing it is that very thing that gave them life.
But the Templar and The Wisard and even the Monk will try always try to lead them unto the pure tranquility and serenity which is the source of all...
to be in the end ,Peace...and that is what is wished for all of you...

The WE you dont know
• The "we" are the healers of the past and the now.
The "we" are the dream makers, and protectors.
The "we" stand for those who cannot stand for themselves, and stands with those who can. We listen with a kind ear, and guide with a pure heart.
The "we" only harm those who do harm. They are both seekers and givers, always exploring the unknown self.
The "we" are at service to all, but close to only a few. We are beyond whom we seem, but always true to our word. We bend no knee to no one, yet respect is given to all.
We do not wish to rule, but also we wish not to be ruled. We follow the path of those who came before us with deep reverence and honor. Our blood is our bond, and last forever.
We were, we are, and will be present for all time, for our blood lines shall go for eternity.
And sometimes, just sometimes we can be deliciously wicked, why? Because we can...this is the meaning and group of the "we".

the future of
Do you care? I mean do you really care?
You know that a place like The Cottage is needed! We have been offering something special, something you cannot get anywhere else. Knowledge and services at a price you can afford, in areas to which you know is important.
We have offered and covered many different aspects of both the “on the edge” and “mainstream “ways of thinking.
If you want something then you have to support it! Not only in thought and feelings, but in the effort to keep the doors open!
How many of you have walked into the retail store? Or how many of you have attended a presentation other than just to see your friend? Have you given yourself of the opportunity to stretch your knowledge?
It’s a harsh reality, that money is needed to pay rent; the professionals have done their presentations for next to nothing, giving you information, knowledge the background and history, they have taken the time to answer your questions and led you down many paths.
These are changing times indeed; the door has swung open for the mind and soul to receive many things, one thing that never changes is the need to pay the bills! There are some options we can take: one is to raise the cost of the meetings which goes against our mission statement of giving the information at the lowest cost we can, another is instituting a membership fee to belong to the group, of course we would offer a discount in the retail store and a cost break on the meetings.
Are we asking for donations? Yes! We are not a non-profit company you will get no tax break, but what you will get is “your” place a place you fit into and works for you.
Instead of donations you can attended the classes and presentations we are holding! Bear in mind the rent for the conference room is $40 an hour, most if not all the professionals teach as part of their income.
Then again maybe you don’t think it is your responsibility to help? And that’s fine also, The Cottage can just fade away like so many other places, and you can go on your merry way and complain that there is no place for you to go. Now that would be a shame now wouldn’t it?

what happened
I recently attended a drum meditation to the great bear; this is the recount of that experience.
As we started indeed the great bear came, but not menacing, he sat down beside me as a loving dog would have, and I heard him say : Watch, first I saw the number 2 and before us the sky became a light show, greens and blues all swirling around.
Next an eagle flew down in front of us, facing away from us, I first saw the number 3, and heard the word watch and the ground around us shook I saw trees falling and rocks falling.
Next a small deer came and stood beside me on the left side, I saw the number 4, and heard the word feel, a light rain or mist began and an overwhelming sense of sadness came over me, yet I was not sad?
Next I saw the number 5, the sky began to melt like a water color picture as it gets wet, the colors started to run together and became black, at the same time I saw the stars? Fall upwards into this black sky.
Next I saw the number 6, I looked around and the bear, eagle and deer were lying on the ground, asleep? Dead? Not sure.
Now most of the time I can logic out what these types of things mean, either by an impulse of the unconscious mind or some other influence. Then dismiss the experience as interesting and leave it at that, but this or these images have stuck, and I am hoping by writing about this/these visions? They will either make sense or just take its place within the reality to which I live.

Who wants to be manipulated
Who wants to be manipulated?
Everyone! It’s stated as in the definition that Manipulation is an act of underhanded motivation but is it really so underhanded? We all have dreams, and fears, it’s in those that manipulation is accomplished.
Now if someone states that they can help you overcome a fear or reach a dream, that’s where you fall into the mind set of I will do anything to so. Here is the catch 22 of dreams, we want them without effort! Give me a pill so I can lose weight and never work out, or give me a loan I never have to pay back even sell me a house I know I cannot afford. We put aside our logic to gain our dreams, only to find out later what we have done, to ourselves! Then we blame whoever and state we were manipulated into the action.
Being lied to, takes a wiliness to be lied to, a good salesman taps into your dreams or fears; you see you cannot be manipulated unless you want to be. In the field of Hypnosis its stated over and over that you cannot make anyone do anything they don’t want to do, but who really knows what they would do or not?
The art of advertising is in fact the art of manipulation; funny thing is we all know that but yet the industry of advertising is a growing business. Have you really looked at the bottom of the screen at the messages? If it said “WE MADE ALL THIS UP” would you buy whatever? Instead they post in itty bitty tinny tiny print that some Government agency has not studied nor approved what they are stating, oh now they have tapped into the Fear factor, in effect there message tells you that the Government is trying to keep something from you! And you Know You Can’t Trust Them!
We don’t need a watch dog like the government we need to realize the old saying “YOU DON’T GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING” is true! Anything and everything takes effort! We know full well what’s good for us or not! A hamburger that has over 3000 calories is not good for you, and you know that but if you don’t think Hey this is gonna kill me, and they tell you OH ITS SO GOOD and you eat it were you Manipulated into it? Or do you really need that Super Gulp where a small drink would do just fine? But they make it sound so good! Or when they make what appears to be something at a lower cost so you will buy a bigger size are they manipulating you? This is called up selling and it’s done all the time, “would you like to super-size that?”
Buyer Beware really means HEY YOU WAKE UP AND USE YOUR HEAD!! Now are there deals or ways to improve your life, the answer is yes, but does your mind really tell you that you can get a $1000 computer for $20? Or that a rock from someone’s garden will suddenly enhance your life?
Often this is how ideas are sold; the scientific elements are presented first, in a most logical manner. Then, when the stage is set, the non-scientific parts of the act are innocently introduced in a casual, yet authoritative manner, and without comment. The realist, faced with this bit of manipulation, finds it infuriating.
The Seeker unaware of the manipulation falls for it hook, line and sinker, the methods done so very well to inset the thought pattern that no amount of logic will change or influence the believer. The really sad part is those who are Leading are those who were Lead, so even they do not understand what they are doing, and are truly convinced as to the validity of what they are teaching.
Let’s look at what has turned into the big business of the law of attraction. Among the elements told to a group is a mixture of tangible and intangible ideas. It is logical and provable that there is in fact Energy from the human bio-electrical machine is real and measurable this is the scientific element. Now comes the non-scientific part or the intangible: the Intuition that lies within to recognize when the events happen. Is Intuition real? Yes in a way it is, but it is such an unknown that someone can present it to reflect anything they wish.
Now a word about “tier group selling”, I will not name the groups but there are a lot of them out there, and they all “sell” to the dream. They will present facts as to dollar amounts that can be made which are true, they will present products which are really good, and that is true. Then ever so easily they slip in the fact that you make money by have a “down line” or having others sell the products for you and see you can make money without effort! The Leader of the group never tells you that YOU have now become their “down line” and they are making money off of you!
You see the real money they talk about making is not off the products but off of the “down line” and that now once you sign up with of course a small buy in, now for you to make money you have to develop your “down line” which means you have to “give the opportunity “ to your friends! Have you just been manipulated? You bet you have, and it was all up to you as to it happening.

present day Metaphysics
The problem in present day Metaphysics!
Reading the literature written as a single base for research is an exercise in futility. Even if all the writing were narrowed to the last fifty years, it would still be a collection of contradictions, omissions, and personal opinions that seem unworthy of the intelligent authors, yet we have found that nearly half of the people do not even know the meaning of the word.
Traditionally, metaphysics refers to the branch of philosophy that attempts to understand the fundamental nature of all reality, whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description so basic, so essentially simple, and so all-inclusive that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It attempts to tell and sell us, what anything and everything must be like in order to be at all.
The key word is BASIC, and SIMPLE! In the study of Yoga if you go back to the beginnings the poses were SIMPLE in execution, they reflected nature around them. Keeping the word Simple in mind, does it make you wonder just how an author can write a book with over 300 pages? Or how some can charge you hundreds of hundreds of dollars to tell you how to discover something you already know? In Zen, we are told not to pursue the Psychic powers and that they are in fact just the offshoot of the proper way in which we should live, yet again thousands of hard-earned money is spent on this pursuit.
Even among those who are knowledgeable, some are afraid of it, some are skeptical, and some use it enthusiastically. Some find it to be almost a religious ritual, while others believe it to be sorcery. Finally, there are rapidly growing segments who find it to be a useful tool, and refuse to inquire further and thereby excepting every idea that comes along without crucial thinking being applied.
In any case there are many people who know about it, believe in it unalterably, use it, and spread the gospel of its use. Almost everything written today is actually slanted toward the author's preconceived opinions. Both pro and con writers are guilty. This is maddeningly true in history. There is a method of presentation becoming commonplace in everything from books to television.
The scientific elements are presented first, in a most logical manner. Then, when the stage is set, the non-scientific parts of the act are innocently introduced in a casual, yet authoritative manner, and without comment. The realist, faced with this bit of manipulation, finds it infuriating. The Seeker unaware of the manipulation falls for it hook, line and sinker, the methods done so very well to inset the thought pattern that no amount of logic will change or influence the believer. The really sad part is those who are Leading are those who were Lead, so even they do not understand what they are doing, and are truly convinced as to the validity of what they are teaching.
Even in the rapid growth rate of the herbal industry, the simplest form of health improvement, there are unethical manufacturers selling substandard products with no guarantee of authenticity, potency, purity or safety. At the same time, anyone with knowledge will tell you that it is the combination or synchronistic (synergistic?) nature of herbs with which their healing properties lie, and not in the single taking of the herb. For them to be truly effective, they should be taken as a liquid, not as they are found in their natural state! It is, however, easier and more profitable to sell single herbs in the form of a pill.

Traditionally, metaphysics refers to the branch of philosophy that attempts to understand the fundamental nature of all reality, whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description so basic, so essentially simple, and so all-inclusive that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It attempts to tell and sell us, what anything and everything must be like in order to be at all.
The key word is BASIC, and SIMPLE! In the study of Yoga if you go back to the beginnings the poses were SIMPLE in execution, they reflected nature around them. Keeping the word Simple in mind, does it make you wonder just how an author can write a book with over 300 pages? Or how some can charge you hundreds of hundreds of dollars to tell you how to discover something you already know? In Zen, we are told not to pursue the Psychic powers and that they are in fact just the offshoot of the proper way in which we should live, yet again thousands of hard-earned money is spent on this pursuit.
Even among those who are knowledgeable, some are afraid of it, some are skeptical, and some use it enthusiastically. Some find it to be almost a religious ritual, while others believe it to be sorcery. Finally, there are rapidly growing segments who find it to be a useful tool, and refuse to inquire further and thereby excepting every idea that comes along without crucial thinking being applied.
In any case there are many people who know about it, believe in it unalterably, use it, and spread the gospel of its use. Almost everything written today is actually slanted toward the author's preconceived opinions. Both pro and con writers are guilty. This is maddeningly true in history. There is a method of presentation becoming commonplace in everything from books to television.
The scientific elements are presented first, in a most logical manner. Then, when the stage is set, the non-scientific parts of the act are innocently introduced in a casual, yet authoritative manner, and without comment. The realist, faced with this bit of manipulation, finds it infuriating. The Seeker unaware of the manipulation falls for it hook, line and sinker, the methods done so very well to inset the thought pattern that no amount of logic will change or influence the believer. The really sad part is those who are Leading are those who were Lead, so even they do not understand what they are doing, and are truly convinced as to the validity of what they are teaching.
Even in the rapid growth rate of the herbal industry, the simplest form of health improvement, there are unethical manufacturers selling substandard products with no guarantee of authenticity, potency, purity or safety. At the same time, anyone with knowledge will tell you that it is the combination or synchronistic (synergistic?) nature of herbs with which their healing properties lie, and not in the single taking of the herb. For them to be truly effective, they should be taken as a liquid, not as they are found in their natural state! It is, however, easier and more profitable to sell single herbs in the form of a pill.

an open letter
A NOTE TO MY STUDENTS
There are those who know me, those who know of me, and those who have no idea who I am. Allow me to introduce myself.
I am a second generation numerologist and my formal education includes, but is not limited to:

3. Psi (Silva Systems).
4. Accounting (National Business Institute).
5. Herbology (Clayton School of Herbology).
It was my upbringing that gave me exposure to herbs, nutrition and meditation as a way of life, giving me an early understanding of what would eventually become more mainstreamed by big company advertising.
I have also studied in depth:

2. Yoga-Sutra (Patanjali).
3. Raja-Yoga.
4. Pranayama (the study of breath).
5. Hatha Yoga.
6. Zen Meditation
7. Living the rules of the Tao.
There is an inexhaustible depth to reality. Everything and every process has an infinite number of interpretations which, by means of scientific development, can only be approximated with laws and concepts then in use. I present both subjective and objective viewpoints on topics I discuss. Reality is not only interpreted by how we understand it, but by our feelings and knowledge of it.
I am not a “fuzzy bunny” teacher. Life is not easy, no matter what you know, no matter what you learn. Life is not a walk in the park, whether you believe it or not. Life-changing events take place and sorrows that seem beyond understanding will occur. I have developed systems that utilize analytical as well as metaphysical concepts. It is the marriage of these concepts whereby realism can be applied and results, tangible workable results, can be realized.

the time of Seasons
There has always been an argument as to what can be known and what cannot be known: the time and day vs. the season of change. The controversy has been centered on what was the time of the reformation of the state of Israel, was it in 1947 when the idea was put to the UN and they agreed to have a vote, Or when in 1948 the vote was taken and the order given.
In either case there are things we do agree on and that are the 70 year time frame from the time of the vote to the change of the time. Now to the meaning of the Season, the Season is the time in which it takes for the change to take place, in this the Season is to last for 7 years.
You see what can be known is the Season of the change and how long it will take, what cannot be known is the real time, that is the day and time to which it ends, nor can be known as to the day and time that the Season starts. The only thing that can be known is this: what is the time of the Season.
To find this you would take the year of 1947 (1948), and add the span of time of 70 years, that gives you only the approximant time of the time of the change, then subtract the 7 years it takes for the Season to be complete, and you will end up at 2010 or 2011.
